After cutting his teeth in the early 90’s on the Jersey Shore bar band circuit, Paul Heaney has emerged as an in demand band leader, sideman, educator, composer, and session player with only a few scars. Paul was the touring guitarist on the 2013-2014 production of the hit ABBA musical “Mamma Mia” and since has held chairs on "The New York Times Critic Picks'” shows “Bedbugs its a Musical !!!” and “Clinton the Musical.” He was the guitar player in the original production of the downtown hit “The View Upstairs.”
Paul is currently recording 3 separate projects; a singer/songwriter release, a “Jazz” record and a Surf Music digital download all for his independent label “Jazz Punk Records”. He is the Music Director at Monmouth Music in Red Bank, NJ where he has taught for 15 years. In his free time Paul likes to read, listen to music and work on his opera. But he still can be found playing guitar regularly in a bar somewhere on The Jersey Shore...
Sherri Ehrlich:
Honey Child Music Director
Sherri Ehrlich, is a innovative leader in music education, has been teaching since 1994. She is the founder and director of Honey Child Music, a music school which has taught thousands of children, infants through teens, in day care centers, preschools and elementary schools as well as a variety of Honey Child Music locations since 1994. Sherri is a NJ certified Pre- 3rd grade teacher with numerous Early childhood music certifications.
Sherri’s 6 CD’s for children have been awarded several prestigious Awards, including, iParenting Media Awards, Adding Wisdom Award as well as her CD “Jelly Belly Boogaloo” being recommended by “Parenting Magazine” for 3-5 year olds in their Mom tested buying guide.
Sherri is a member of The National Association for Music Education and the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association. Sherri is a music specialist, TV host of her own “Miss Sherri Live Show” and teaches Early Childhood classes, music camps and Glee Club at The Middletown Arts Center, Count Basie Theater and Monmouth Music.

Larry Nelson: Drums/Percussion
Larry studied at The Collective School in New York City, receiving an Advanced Performance
Certificate, and studied privately with numerous instructors. Trained in many musical styles,
music reading, rudimental study, and ensemble performance, he has over 20 years experience
at various studios in New Jersey teaching beginning and intermediate level students,
establishing proper technique and fundamentals, as well as essential drum set basics and
musicianship. He also is currently a working 20 year veteran of the New Jersey, New York, Pa.

Joyce Martinez - Lesson Coordinator
Joyce is responsible for booking the students lessons at Monmouth Music. She handles 10 teachers schedules with ease and matches students with teachers depending on the instrument, day and time that the student and teacher are available. Joyce has a special rapport with the parents and students. She loves to hear how the students are progressing with their lessons. Joyce is also the cashier at Monmouth Music. She is at the store only part-time however, since during the school year, Joyce is a Special Education Teacher Assistant working with autistic/special needs children. She is very warm and sensitive to the needs of her students and that carries over to the students at Monmouth Music. Her high energy and enthusiasm make her a wonderful person to work with. In her free time, Joyce likes to relax at home after all of her chores are done!
